Leipzig is located in the heart of Europe and is extremely easy to reach by plane, train, and car. The city of Leipzig is just a one-hour flight from Frankfurt/M. or Munich. The Leipzig Hauptbahnhof main train station is located in the city centre. It is the largest station in Europe in terms of area and a major transport hub in Germany. Frankfurt/M. is 3 hours and 6 minutes away by train, while Berlin is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. You can get to Dresden in 1 hour and 6 minutes and Prague in 4 hours. The newly built high-speed line to Munich will be dedicated at the end of 2017. The journey will then take 3 hours and 15 minutes.
